The Man in the Moon
The Man in the Moon is a story become manifest. It's unknown who came up with the story or if it is magical in nature, but when a person is told the story they begin to see a huge male sleeping face on the moon. The story then spreads, as the victim tells their friends how once they heard the story they began to see the face which "infects" their friends so they can also see the face. Many theories have been developed by scholars of the nature of the Man in the Moon, but none have been proven. A popular theory is that once every person on Ebresia can see the Man in the Moon, it will wake up and crash into the planet, destroying it and all of its inhabitants.
