Personal history
Born to a young middle-class woman, Brona Razska, in Teryk, who had been assaulted by an older man. His birth family disowned them, his mother was unable to establish herself as a cobbler. She became quite ill. The aging Vizegräfin Mila ir'Filipek was passing through the market square with her retinue when Brona fainted in front of her. The Vizegräfin had Brona and her child taken to the family's physician.
While Brona was being cared for by the Filipek Family physician, young Stosla was taken to the family manor for safe keeping. The disease the young woman had contracted left her mostly paralyzed, and unable to care for her son. It was around this same time the Vizegraf was killed in battle with Thrane forces, leaving the Vizegräfin with neither husband nor heir in her later years. It was in her grief that she mad an idea: adopt Stosla and groom him for the position.
At barely 4 years of age, young Stosla became the official heir of the Filipek family. His mother, unable to care for herself and no family to turn to, was to kept at the Filipek estate in good comfort. From this point, Stosla was given every opportunity that a young noble scion would be afforded.
In his teens and twenties, at the prime time for a noble youth to be sent to an academy to be trained for military service, his Foster Mother had sent him to be trained by tutors in Korth. As a result, he has no head for tactics or combat yet he enjoys the feeling of being a commander.
In 987 YK Stosla was officially named Vizegraf, and his foster mother retired from her position. She passed away a mere year after, comfortably in her sleep with the boy she took in at her side. Without her guidance, the new Vizegraf turned to the other noblemen of Teryk for support. It was by their reccomendation that he divided up the daily operation of the town between the three family heads.
