Day of Remembrance
History
The Day of Remembrance takes place every year on Icehail 01 and goes back to The Age of Solitude. It is celebrated worldwide. Due to the nature of this day, all but the most necessary businesses are closed for the day.
Execution
People usually spent this day on their own to reflect on the previous year. They celebrate the good things that happend and embrace the bad ones. Over the years, it became an established tradition for people to either write down their regrets and grievances and burn that piece of paper to help them let go of the negativity or burn a smudge stick while naming the things weighing on them. The day is typically ended with a modest feast.
