The largest and most influential dukedom in Valon, Miraland is ruled directly from the capital, Newmire. After the Great Magic War, it outlawed magic entirely, becoming the heart of the Cleansing movement. A bastion of human rule and tradition, it remains strict, orderly, and deeply suspicious of arcane practices. The tree-form of Golmund Crovan still stands in Newmire's center, a silent monument to its past.
