Merchant Compliance Regulation

All merchants, traders, and transporters operating within Widton or its ports shall submit to the regulations of the Merchant Compliance Board, overseen by the Duke’s inspectors.

• All cargo and magical goods must be registered, taxed, and inspected at designated checkpoints.
• Randomized inspections are authorized without prior notice.
• Smuggling of any kind is considered treason and shall be met with imprisonment or execution.
• Blood Tariffs may be offered by high merchants to secure immunity under direct approval from House Barclay.
