Individuals who voluntarily pursue the profession of gladiatorial combat shall be recognized as civic entertainers and granted limited privileges under Widton law.
- Such gladiators are not exempt from mandatory guard service or conscription under the Servitude Edict.
- Earnings derived from public arena performances may be retained, subject to taxation under the Merchant Compliance Regulation.
- Voluntary gladiators must register with the Arena Council to obtain combat licenses and public legitimacy.
- Registered gladiators may participate in official duels and exhibitions, and may be granted public recognition or preferential treatment in certain state events—but are still subject to recall into state service at any time.
