The Traveler
Giver of Gifts
The Traveller
The Traveler is a god of chaos in the World of Eastrix. His domains includes traveling, change and chaos. He is also one of the new gods and specifically a very unique one. According to legend, he is the first non-death god who resides within the River of Souls. Specifically he oversees the different souls travel on the River on a macro level. He doesn't guide individual souls by creating multiple instances of himself, instead he oversees soul travel from a much top-down view. He makes sure that these souls that are traveling to a afterlife, are traveling. This however has caused confusion as there are many other death gods who makes sure of same. This has been explained by his rambunctious group of devotees as: "The Traveler does not ensure you arrive at the correct destination, but he ensures a safe travel.". Through its through this logic that the Traveler has gain a sense of infamy as he should just be guiding souls but he has found more fun in interacting with the denizens of the Material Realm and the souls travelling. This at times has caused chaos within the Material Realm and blockages in the River of Souls.
Description
The most mysterious of all the gods, the Traveler is believed to be a supreme trickster, a virtuoso of tricks and craftiness, an overseer of travelers on the River of Souls and yet also a presence of chaos within Eastrix. The Traveler is thought to look favorably on those who use their wits or are resourceful, and to disapprove of those who begged for safety and care or for unearned gifts.Legends
Legends say that, alone among the gods, the Traveler walks the land with a thousand faces, in body and in spirit, but no mortal will pierce its perfect disguise. The Traveler's true nature is one of the great mysteries, and even its gender is unknown: it's referred to as "it", not "he" or "she", but "he" has sometimes been used. Either way, it has been depicted with a laughing face and one dull eye.The Traveler often speaks of the Dark Six, and yet it is not related, by family or any other means, to any of the other members of the Dark Six. This intrigue in fact, has been the only constant surrounding experiences had with the Traveler. It appears to be defiantly independent of the Dark Six, and yet deeply concerned with the status of them. No matter your devotion to the Traveler, he has always at some point at the very least said the name of the Dark Six.
The Traveler has been said by believers to have created the whole world itself. In two myths commonly told by doppelgangers, the Traveler created the world from pieces scavenged from another world. In one, this world was an earlier creation that had fallen into ruin, and in the other, it was a parallel creation the Traveler desired to copy. In another myth, the Traveler drew the world from out of a dragon's gut. This dragon's gut is supposedly Bahamut. Followers tell the story that in olden times there was a woman called Jes who had one hundred children. When enemies plotted to slay them, Jes despaired, however a lone traveler came and took her hand, promising "I will protect your children if they follow my path. Let them wander the world. They may be shunned and feared, but they will never be destroyed." Accepting this, Jes was given the traveler's cloak and she spread it over her hundred children. Though their left eye was melted away, they were safe.
In total the Traveler, is entity of chaos and disturbance in the gods' games with the mortals. No one knows truly which side the Traveler is on, but one thing is for sure. It has it's goals and merits and no matter how mysterious they might seem, it will achieve them.
A quote on the Traveler from Garry Berry Hart, a world-renowned tourist guide:"The Traveler, you say? I met his cultists, quite welcoming until they pissed in my soup. My curry soup. My precocious curry soup."

The Traveller flamboyantly follow his little star child Aurelion around, whilst flirtously interacting with other party members. He looks for potential but also for fun or is it mostly fun? You never quite know with the Traveller.
