The Tale of the Mad Mage in the Hole

Around 400 years ago now, a folktale started to circulate around the area that now makes up the country of Tizandra. This folktale talked of the Mad Mage In The Hole, a wizard of great power that allegedly should have a lair around the area of Stonebrook. This tale has later been proven true as a giant hole was discovered around the area almost 350 years ago. The folktale spokes thusly:

"Once upon a time, there lived a Mad Mage. He lived in a hole that reached all the way to the centre of the earth. His home was the home of many, but he did not mind. His home was often visited, but he did not mind. His home became the living bread of all the people that lived in it, but he did not mind. His home had many treasures and people tried to steal them and run away from the hole and he did mind that. So the Mad Mage decided that if his treasures were so wanted, people would have to earn them. He put out a message to the whole world: “If you seek my knowledge, my gold, my treasure then come to my hole and find me. Defeat me fair and square and I will hand over all my treasure, but if I defeat you, then you must hand me all of yours”. Adventurers, Travellers and Curious Souls from all the world came to find the Mad Mage In The Hole to get all his treasure and yet no one in their right mind has yet to defeat the Mad Mage In The Hole."

You are one of these curious souls who find themselves wandering towards the tavern "The Yawning Portal" in hopes of taking your try at getting the treasure that The Mad Mage in the Hole might hold! Some come for treasure and others came for spells and knowledge. The heroes of the group known as The Powerpuff Girls, find themselves fighting, climbing, running and crawling their way through the Mad Mages hole in hopes of getting these riches. However, the Mad Mage has up until now, had many tricks up his sleeve. The Mad Mages cunning is often underestimated, for despite being mad his genius has not faded.
