Capricorn Cove

The great pseudo capital of Prim Isla, showered in harbour culture and market bickering. The streets are filled with people smoking cigars and drinking two if not more of the many havnaian drinks that can be found within the commonwealth.

The harbour in Capricorn Cove is an absolutely majestic sight. Control and order are not words one would use to describe anything in Prim Isla, but regarding the harbour of Capricorn Cove, it would not be out of the question to describe it with a sense of order and control. Each ship has its own stalls, that is both guarded and noted down by a harbour master. The harbormaster here is not just a single person, but a gang who has controlled the harbour for generations. A triton that resembles that of a codfish with human legs in a very big fine coloured fur jacket with strips along with a long edged fedora with a very large phoenix feather in it. Once in a while, an aarakocra will come flying by and reports back to Mister Carp about the current stall situation at the port and if any suspensions activity has happened. The triton is called Mister Carp or Senior Carpio by the general populous and he himself has adopted the name as well since it just sticks with everyone. This nickname stems from the fact that his face is very similar to a carp fish. The aarakocra who comes flying by has taken a name alike Mister Carp, in the form of Mister Pigeon. Mister Carp has later started a gang of different aarakocra, kenku and tritons known as Poisson De L'amour.

As its name might suggest is a place where the more shady activities of Capricorn Cove takes place. "Do you spice?" or "You wanna feel the Waters Of Lunia?" which for the uninitiated, is a question of whether you are interested in hard drugs. Murky Shade is filled with shadowy walkways, tight corridors, dark water and almost completed houses that have been improvised to look sort of finished. It is here that one might contact different criminal organizations such as Laughing Weasel, The Scarlet Syndicate or The Raiders Of Delihah. All of these different organizations have all been known for their deadliness and extreme dedication to satisfying whatever their customer might request of them.
A notable other organization that one might stumble into whilst in Murky Shade is Capricorn Coves Championship Wrestling or 3CW. 3CW is the official or semi-official, duelling and wrestling organization in Capricorn Cove. Here you will find wrestlers, gladiators, fighters and of course the biggest amount of prize money on Prim Isla. There is almost a battle running in some shape or form always and occasionally a tournament will be held. A tournament is a long row of consecutive battles that end with everyone participating in a free-for-all over-the-top-rope battle royale to become The Supreme 3CW Champion. The current Supreme 3CW Champion is Blundertaker, an orc that looks like an undead gunslinger. Some other examples of 3CW competitors are Bulletman; a half-elf with a sidecut who is a combination of being hitman-esque, laissez-faire surfer, Shully Swagger; a very large half-human half-goliath who is an uncontrolled and deadly bully with no regard for humanoid life, Herc Banter; a small slender gnome who is narcissistic and yet also a coward that will use dirty tricks to win his fights, Cannie The Man; a younger human-male or female many are confused since Cannie always tries to convince everyone that he is a man by saying that "I'm the man". The owner of 3CW is none other than Big Benji, a Hog goblin that almost looks like a normal goblin more than anything else. He runs the business with an iron fist and demands only the best out of his competitors.
Murky Shade in short encompasses all that is well exactly that shady dealings and actions on the murkier, and what some call wrong, side of the law.

Hachetfield is more of the standard urban living area of the cove. Many call it the boring part of the cove and referencing as a place for criminals who might look for a place to settle down and start a family, however, the typical havanian culture is not something anyone, any time soon is going to escape from at all. A few pubs, bars and other things like that can be found within Hachetfield. One of the most popular places to go in town besides the infamous brothel, Rose Vine Parlor, can be found within Hachetfield. The Hammered Trost, owned by Crescent Council member Rami Zam'zimi, a bar that radiates cosiness and hunters cabin can be found more or less within the centre of Hachetfield. The bar is filled with decorations like Canonara horns and Owlbear heads all placed as different trophies on the wall. People drink and have fun and of course, most people come here because they have a high chance that you might meet a face you know. Even though the bar is owned by Rami Zam'zimi, he is not running this specific edition of it. The Capricorn Cove extension is run by a dwarf man named Felix Rantinggale. A young dwarf from the Fröstlanders who is proud of his nation and all of its glorious history.

Besides that one might be unlucky enough to stumble into Salvador Goodpicker. This elderly dwarf walks crouched around the streets of Hachetfield in hopes of getting past new junk he will be able to use in his shop, Salvador's Salvage. The wandering shop sells everything good you can find on the street, from watches to small swords and daggers. This lovely "shop" which honestly just is a large backpack filled with shit however usable shit, on the back of a smelly hobo is Salvador's Salvage. He has everything from normal weapons and other small items or spells components you could need, however, he is very very loud and many inhabitants of Hachetfield has complained to him several times but due to his abysmal memory has usually always been forgotten what he has been told.

Lowtrees is the more promiscuous part of Capricorn Cove, it is also the location of the most infamous brothel in the entire history of Eastrix, The Rose Vine Parlor. Lowtrees is where prostitution, partying and dancing clubs can be found. People party in the streets and hell even in their beds almost every single night. Even though there are other brothels and competitors it is largely agreed that just very simply is the boss or head honcho when it comes down to it. Therefore many of the rarer to see races usually gather here, due to the nature of the family owning The Rose Vine Parlor business. The current owners of the Rose Vine Parlor are foster-sons of the feral tiefling simply just known as Papa Legba. According to the rumours, Papa Legba came directly from the nine hells as an escaped servant. Papa Legba uses to work for the devil lord, Graz'zt The Dark Prince of Pleasure. Legba back then was nothing more than a street thief, but through lucky circumstances, he climbed to the top within Lowtrees and later Capricorn Cove. But with this influence from Prince Graz'zt Legba always of course climbed to the top by establishing a large chain of brothels, setting Lowtrees on the course for becoming the more promiscuous part of Capricorn Cove.

As you might hear The Rose Vine Parlor is an essential part of the soul of Lowtrees and the story of The Rose Vine Parlor starts with the singular most influential tiefling in Capricorn Cove or what would become him. Capricorn Cove has always been known for being a city where boys turn into sailors and sailors turn into pirates and pirates into legends and it is rather normal to see larger criminal groups walking around the city freely and openly. It was in this environment, that a young tiefling with the number 7483 burned into his back neck. The last thing he remembered was that he and his parents were forced by Prince Graz'zt to move out of the city of Dis down into Stygia and transferred to be under Prince Levistus' control. They had through a cambion sought to escape to the Prime Material plane. Number 7483 or Sorzo as they are escaping, the cambion turns on them in the hopes of getting a reward for capturing escapees. Sorzos parents stay behind as he escapes through the use of the plane shift spell. He finds himself dazed, flashed and confused placed in a dwelling of some pale and tan tiefling with weird skin colour, but most unfortunately he finds himself alone. Sorzo would later figure out that the place he's in is a brothel and it goes by the name The Rose Vine Parlor. He chooses to stay here since it felt like a nice version of The Flesh Pits that Prince Graz'zt usually would reward his most "gracious" of servants with a time in. Here began the new human upbringing of Sorzo, which entailed being brought up by the various women and men in the brothel that as best as they could raise him to become a man, though of course on the wrong side of the law. He throughout his time in Capricorn Cove integrated with the many different criminal and semi-criminal organizations, however the most prominent of them is the Sparks Family Foundation. Here he formed a good friendship with the owner Bill Bennett Sparks and the rest of the Sparks family. After rescuing Bill Bennett Sparks wife from the hands of a group of evil goblins, the Sparks Foundation rewards Sorzo with an opportunity to be adopted and become part of the family if he wanted to. Sorzo however had other plans, he asked for a sum of money for which he wanted to buy The Rose Vine Parlor. He wanted to start his own business like the Sparks Foundation and he asked if Bill Bennett Sparks could step in as an advisory financial role. Bill accepted and gave the gift and from here The Rose Vine Parlor now started to appear in places like Lover’s Lagoon and Port Sanguine, but later expansions were also built in Pridwin and Mockery Docks. As the owner of this great empire, Sorzo felt that he finally was on top of life again, he, therefore, adopted the name as Papa Legba, inspired by the religion of Prim Isla and Cabana Havana. With that the life of Rose Vine Parlor began.

Not everyone is as lucky as everybody else to have a house in Capricorn Cove, and those who are unlucky are the ones that recite in The Flea, the main hotspot for homeless people in Capricorn Cove. Some has described the Flea as an ocean of tents and small mud hobbles that barely are kept together. You usually find people are drug addicts or people whose problems with gambling or anything alike was never solved. The outcasts and unlucky few have created their own community of mud people within the Flea. Though the Mud Brood, as they call themselves mostly are not hostile and even friendly at times, it is common knowledge that if you wear expensive jewellery or clothing then you are going to get ransacked before leaving the Flea. One famous denizen within the Flea is Obadiah Kon A. Rist. Obadiah is an older gentleman, who in the eyes of anyone outside of the Flea always takes too much for everything he sells. Obadiah himself sees what trinkets and common magical items he sells as pure treasure scavenged from the wastes of Prim Isla and is certainly not willing to go down on his prices. Obadiah will usually decide in the market area in The Flea, where he will describe in great detail the many adventures he for certain, no lies, has been on.
