Animation
Unlike summoning or telekinesis, animation imbues motion, rudimentary sentience and or transforms an inanimate object into a golem under the willpower of the caster.
For ease of communication, we shall simplify the animation powers and objects as Golems.
Effect
In general terms, animation magic involves transforming the target into a moving creature. This Golem is under the will of the caster.
Side/Secondary Effects
Golems sometimes have weaponry attached to them. If a Golem requires ammunition, then a supply cache needs to be available. A Golem can arm itself and has the instinct to do so. If the weaponry fires energy projectiles, it does have a limited reserve of energy to fire them. If the caster wills it upon creation, new abilities could be applied to the Golem. However, after the created construct is made, new skills cannot be added to it.
Manifestation
Animation magic appears to require lots of preparation by the caster. At least, the more advanced the Golem, the more advanced the time and preparation needed. Some abolished Wizard quarters or databanks have been deciphered to prove that blueprints or conceptual work on inanimate objects with the desired abilities.
