Won-see

Demographics

As Won-see is a fae city, it is primarily populated by fae denizens. However, due to its geographical location, there is a large populace of humans of Asian descent here as well.

Infrastructure

The city is built on a fae leyline, so magic here is potent and wild. While the city may look technologically advanced, almost everything within is actually powered by magic.

History

Before the Apocalypse, a fae bubble, several miles in radius, encompassed a rural area of South Korea. In the centuries since, a large city was formed within the bubble, capitalizing on the unique gravitational anomaly and fae magic within. Now it is the foremost entertainment hub of Faesia.

Tourism

As Won-see is the largest fae city on Earth, people come from far and wide to visit and see the magic of the land. Skyscrapers grown from twisting trees covered in meter-wide vines and populated on the outside with fairies, pixies, and their like. Amphitheaters where artists can perform with magically amplified theatrics. The Kyumai Lake, presumed bottomless, and overseen by the Selkie Queen and her servants (selkies, naiads, and other such water fae).

Architecture

The buildings here are modeled after modern architecture such as skyscrapers and office buildings, but they are all grown from trees rather than built, so the lines are generally rounded or spiraled rather than angular.

Climate

The climate within the bubble of Won-see is warm and humid, with limited fluctuations in temperature. The weather, though, is erratic. It rains when the fae feel dry, shines when the fae feel cool, and snows when the fae feel bored. When it snows, the city remains warm, but the snow somehow still sticks to the ground.
