Indiana discovered a new weapon power source, it held properties that could destroy the entirety of North Korea, and it could fit in someones pocket. The states of Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, and Oklahoma were the first to reject this weapon and to say it must be destroyed along with any records of it. The northern states (specifically the ones now part of the "New Union") thought it would be a good weapon in a war, but the other states thought it was too destructive. This caused great distrust between the many states.
