Thundering Hammerhorn
Malleuceratops thorus
The Rolling Prairie of Western Titanios is a vast fern prairie, a perfect haven for large dinosaur herbivores, one of which is the Thundering Hammerhorn, a pachyrhinosaur. Not the largest herbivore in the region but definitely one of the most aggressive. Both males and females are known to attack both predators and fellow herbivores without provocation, using their thick bosses to shatter bones of their target. Unlike the ancestral pachyrhinosaurus, the boss covers the surface of the head from the nose to the base of the frill. Much like the Lancehorns to the south, Hammerhorns travel in matriarchal herds led by a Lady while males are solitary but will also form bachelor herds of up to 4 individuals, usually siblings. This is assumed to be for protection as Hammerhorns don't grow to the size of Lancehorns. Breeding is quiet similar to Lancehorns, with males gathering around female herds and fighting for title of Lord.
