Medusa's Temple

Atop a mountain due west of Greece, lies a strange temple. Many who have made the journey to this mountain have been returned home as solid stone statues. However, those not identifying as male have returned home safely.   Those who have returned home safely have reported having more bliss in their daily lives. Many of these creatures regularly return to the mountain for guidance or to do simple meditation with who lies at the top.   It is said that the gorgon Medusa lays in wait in the temple. Offering to provide comfort and wisdom to whomever she deems worthy.   Many have said that they were tempted up to the mountain by a strange light in the sky. However, those same creatures advise that if you do not see this light, you must stay away from the mountain or suffer the consequences.
