Patroclus is a highly reserved man and often refuses to speak altogether. It is rumored that this is because of a near-death experience involving the god Apollo.
Although the entire ordeal is purely speculation, it is said that Patroclus was extremely affected by the situation. When he has spoken to others outside of his lover Achilles, he has said that the night replays in his head often. The night he supposedly almost lost his lover and himself weighs heavy on him.
Patroclus has said that his lover, despite getting the brunt of the attack, is not nearly as affected by the whole thing as he is. However, he has never spoken about the ordeal itself. Due to this, many have speculated that the situation never happened and he is merely seeking sympathy from those who believe it happened.
Aside from this, not much is known about Patroclus.
