Maxwell Trevelyan was the first ruler of the Trevelyan dynasty and is often considered to be one of histories all time greatest kings. He is widely viewed as having been very pragmatic, very in tune and sympathetic to the needs and wants of his citizens, and despised criminals or law breakers. This time period saw Hyrule grow from being a nation freshly demolished by it's civil war (which ended when Maxwell became King) to being an industrialized superpower on the world stage. The Hylian economy also became essential to the world economy, making Hyrule the de-facto "center of the world" for quite some time, until other worlds economies were able to 'catch up'.
