Ever wondered how there are humans who have supernatural-like powers? People who can change the temperature of their bodies, people who are immune to poisons, super strength, a talent with animals, people who can predict the future. These are all traits of the extinct species of Elementals that roamed the Earth centuries ago.   The genes of Elementals run in almost every human on Earth, after their mass extinction, many escaped their fate and hid amongst humans, mixing in with them and falling in love. Even you and I have Elemental blood in us, perhaps weaker than others, but it is there nonetheless.   Many people believe in the existence of a God and that God created our universe and watches over us. This is partially true, except God does not directly watch over us, God created two entities, Light and Darkness, two guardians that watch over the Earth and maintain the balance of good and bad. Light and Darkness created Elementals from humans to protect (or in Darkness' case to harm) humans. Elementals existed away from humans in their own separate island, it's only when humans discover this new species that everything goes to shit basically. That's what humans are good at of course.   But as with most species, the Elementals have their own conflicts and a war that has been ravaging the island has lasted for more than a few decades. And with war comes death and loss, something Fire King Roderich has a lot of experience with, especially since he's reigning the kingdom that is at war against the Water Empire.   When an author and her group of friends suddenly get teleported into one of her stories in the middle of a war, how will they survive? Is it possible to change the course of a story when you're no longer holding the pen in your hand? Will you take charge of your new destiny and write a new story? How the fuck is Roderich going to deal with this group of dumbasses?
