Jack the Ripper returns as a curse mark that jumped from host to host, shapeshifting and killing people till he was eventually stopped by Jack the ripper.

Beyond the Supernatural: Jack the Ripper   Soda Springs, Idaho, July 2, 1988 — 1:28 AM On a stormy night at the edge of Hawker Road, just outside Bailey Creek, four teenagers — Murphy Rogers, Katie McGee, John Myers, and Jay Williamson — find their lives forever changed. The curse of Jack the Ripper has returned, and it is jumping from person to person, killing its hosts with terrifying precision. This curse can shapeshift the host, and when it strikes, the haunting sound of Video Killed the Radio Star by The Buggles plays, even from broken radios. After a chilling encounter with the Ripper, Murphy begins to realize that the curse is more than just a legend. Jay, visited by the ghost of someone long dead, is warned to beware of Jack's curse and the malevolent force lurking behind it known simply as the monster behind the veil. The four children, now drawn into the mystery, begin to piece together the secrets of the curse, uncovering clues that lead them to believe they are facing something far older and darker than they could have imagined. As Jack’s curse escalates into a deadly killing spree, the children are relentlessly hunted for two days, barely surviving the onslaught. Yet, despite their survival, they remain clueless about how to end it. In the darkest of moments, Murphy finds an old note hidden in his attic, which leads them to a mysterious location in the woods. There, they make a discovery that will change everything: the secret of the Rogers bloodline and a talking book containing the knowledge of Murphy's late uncle, a supernatural hunter. The book reveals that the Roger family once confronted Jack the Ripper in the past. They attempted to use a ritual to banish him for good, but the curse was too powerful, and their efforts only succeeded in temporarily sealing him away for a century. The children soon realize they are in the fight of their lives, with Jack determined to destroy them for uncovering his secrets and weakness. The confrontation takes a fateful turn when Jack forces the children into a final showdown by kidnapping Katie McGee. Murphy, John, and Jay are teleported to a desolate White Chapel, London, in 1888, where Jack’s reign of terror had first begun. Separated and hunted by the Ripper in the shadows, the group struggles to survive. During the chaos, Jay Williamson, age 17, is stabbed repeatedly and tragically bleeds to death in the streets, becoming Jack's latest victim. In a desperate attempt to stop Jack, John Myers, age 18, sacrifices himself by setting himself on fire and attempting to hold onto Jack until they both burn to death. But the Ripper's dark power proves too great, and Jack narrowly escapes, healing within moments of death. Murphy Rogers, now the last surviving member of the group, faces Jack in a final confrontation. Jack begins toying with Murphy and uses his illusions to make him suffer. Using Jack's own inflated ego against him, Murphy turns the tables by performing the ritual he set up earlier to banish the curse for another hundred years, saving Katie and sparing countless others from the Ripper’s wrath. However, the ritual isn't perfect — a crucial mistake weakens it, causing the banishment to last only half as long as intended. With the knowledge that Jack will one day return for revenge, Murphy, now scarred by the horrors he’s witnessed, changes his name to Rex Murphy to escape the past. Katie, forever grateful to Murphy for saving her life, also changes her name to Katie Rogers in honor of the boy who gave her a future. With her family gone, slain by Jack’s curse, Katie relocates to Norfolk, Virginia, where she starts anew. Meanwhile, Rex Murphy, unable to return to his old life, becomes a wandering hunter of the supernatural. A nomad, he tracks and eliminates creatures of the night — from werewolves to vampires, from the undead to other dark forces. He becomes a legend, feared by monsters and revered by hunters, known as the man who single-handedly eradicated a den of werewolves, the hunter who makes vampires run in terror, and the creature that haunts the undead. He became known as The Creature of the Light. But Rex’s fight is far from over. Fate will soon call upon him once again, and he will be forced to confront the darkness that haunts the future of humanity. Jack the Ripper may have been sealed away for now, but the curse is far from finished. The victims of Jack will never be forgotten in Soda Springs and in Katie and Rex’s heart. The victims; Jefferson Whittle age 46, Amanda Robertson age 40, Sarah Mcgee (mother of Kaite Mcgee) age 42, Jay Williams age 17, and John Myers age 18 all were killed by Jack the Ripper's hands.
