Icarus
We're protected by international treaties. If this baby goes down, it'll be a mechanical failure, or some idiot's oversightWRONG! It did not fly too close to the sun, but it did fly slightly close to an active battle ground, which isn't out of the ordinary for a Lightwings vessel... but we'll get back to that. The Icarus, flagship of Lightwing's 4th aerial relief fleet, was a rather large and powerful aircraft, capable of carrying hundreds of tons of supplies. It could move the equivalent of several food banks or several stores' worth of clothing. Her goal was to serve as a large transport vessel as well as a mobile operations base, capable of deploying and receiving cargo and personal aircraft, as well as serving as a mobile hospital. Its general duties and deployments had it utilized as a battlefield hospital and humanitarian evacuation point, as well as a forward base in relation to those operations, and others in the area. While heading to edge of an unrelated conflict zone, the Icarous passed relatively close to Butterscotch HQ... while the agency was under attack by an at the time, unknown entity. The Icarus never fired a shot, locked on, or even turned in the direction of Butterscotch HQ, however they were fired upon, rather heavily, and brought down. Most of the staff managed to survive with varying degrees of injuries, by the attack itself instantly killed 7 people, and the crash claimed the lives of another 5. The Icarus came to rest 17 km east-northeast of Butterscotch HQ, yet Butterscotch made no move towards it. Several days later, the remains of the Icarus, which was still rather sizable, was nowhere to be seen, leaving only the crater and skid marks from its landing.

I love how concise but informative this article is. I struggle with vehicles, so I love to see a well-written one by someone else. Plus, I'm a sucker for an "Icarus".
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I personally felt it was short, but this vehicle doesn't hold a prominent place in the world at large... anymore. Also, its functions are simple and straightforward... i was just too lazy to calculate things like size and weight... mostly because i made a material to go along with the ship lol Also, when i thought about the ship, and what I would have happen to it, Icarus just fit lol
