EDITORIAL: Does the CAPE Act Even Work?

A local band of heroes known throughout Broward as Starhawk's Cry are wanted in Tampa for a murder at a night club. Starhawk was seen cutting the sprinklers before moving towards the back. Another member of his Cry, is wanted for the murdered of an agent! These would be heroes are suppose to be protecting us with their meta human abilities, but they used their extraordinary powers in a club fight. A man is dead because our system is failing us.   (shows the picture of starhawk with the label "Starhawk.") (shows the picture of Ryder with the label "Preacher") (shows the picture of Man-Kaiju with the label "Man Kaiju")   These heroes recently busted up and exposed an illegal meta splicing operation. And the very next act is to murder a civilian just because of how he looks. How can we trust the CAPE Act to protect us when any meta can register and make themselves the judge, jury and executioner? We need better controls on who can register at all! The Cry is one of the most notable hero teams in our area, but celebrity does not enable you to do such heinous acts!   WE NEED ANSWERS! What caused our local heroes to act in such a villainous way! We call on all suspects to turn themselves into the Tampa Police to resolve the criminal aspects of this investigation. We pledge to continue to bring you the TRUTH no matter what.
