RANGED WEAPONS - SHARP

ADDITIONAL WEAPON RULES

Axe: A well-balanced axe built for war. Although meant for melee, it can also be thrown.

Battleaxe: A well-balanced axe built for war. Although meant for melee, it can also be thrown.

Bolt: This is a short, light spear built for throwing.

Bow: This weapon fires arrows. The user can choose between Blunt and Sharp damage by using different arrows. They must declare which type they are using when they make the attack.

C.A. Prototype Laser: The Covert Alpha prototype laser is an experimental rifle that can deal massive damage, but ended up being too bulky for conventional field use. A stockpile of the weapons was recently stolen and have made their way into the hands of various criminal organizations. The weapon ignores a 1 rank in Health Damage Reduction.

Egg Bomb: Use the grenade rules to see where the egg bomb lands. An egg bomb uses its own damage multiplier (×2) instead of that of the attacker. On a Fantastic success, it does double that (×4) damage to the character in the space where it lands and regular (×2) damage to all other affected targets.

Frag Grenade: Use the grenade rules to see where the grenade lands. A frag grenade uses its own damage multiplier (×2) instead of that of the attacker. On a Fantastic success, it does double that (×4) damage to the character in the space where it lands and regular (×2) damage to all other affected targets.

Grenade Launcher: This weapon can be outfitted with any type of grenade. It has double the normal range for thrown grenades, but the grenades otherwise work the same way.

Mini-Carrot Missiles: Attacks with the carrot against targets 5 spaces away or fewer have trouble.

Mini-Shield Discs: Acts as a pistol.

Pistol: A standard firearm.

Pumpkin Bomb: Use the grenade rules to see where the pumpkin bomb lands. A pumpkin bomb uses its own damage multiplier (×2) instead of that of the attacker. On a Fantastic success, it does double that (×4) damage to the character in the space where it lands and regular (×2) damage to all other affected targets.

Rifle: Attacks with this firearm against targets 5 spaces away or fewer have trouble.

Razor Feathers: A set of knife-like feathers that can be used for melee and throwing. Usually preferred by those with Flight.

Shotgun: This firearm can attack up to two targets in adjacent spaces to which the attacker can draw a line of sight. Make a single attack roll and compare it to the Agility defence scores of both targets. Split the damage from that roll equally.

Sniper Rifle: Attacks with this firearm against targets 10 spaces away or fewer have trouble.

Spear: A long spear that’s good for melee and throwing.

Submachine Gun: This firearm can attack up to three targets in adjacent spaces to which the attacker can draw a line of sight. Make a single attack roll and compare it to the Agility defence scores of the targets. Split the damage from that roll equally. Attacks with this weapon against targets 5 spaces away or fewer have trouble.

Trident: A long three-tined spear that’s good for melee and throwing.
