As a baby, Lucy De Witte was discarded by her father Mindbomb (Frank Ford)—the one-time leader of the Faxsces. She spent her youth believing she was the daughter of a pair of wealthy Wall Street financiers (Jorn and Gina De Witte). It was only after the death of her adoptive parents that Ford re-entered Lucy's life.
Sensing potential in the young woman, Ford coerced his daughter into joining the Faxsces. He gave her special training in combat and forced her to act as a Faxsces spy under the codename of Visage. Although she eventually separated herself from her toxic father, Lucy has continued to work as a Faxsces agent.
