Unbonded Symbiote
PERSONAL HISTORY
Symbiotes are an alien species of shapeless, parasitic creatures composed of inorganic material. They require attachment to a sentient host to be able to thrive, and they grant their host increased strength and durability—among other powers—in exchange for sustenance the symbiotes struggle to otherwise obtain. Bonded symbiotes feed on their hosts’ emotions too—the stronger, the better.
Symbiotes are sometimes encountered without any hosts. This profile represents unbonded symbiotes from the planet Klyntar.
Sometimes, unbonded symbiotes force an unconscious foe to bond with them, giving them control over the host.
If an unbonded symbiote is reduced to 0 Health or Focus, it becomes formless. If it loses Health or Focus to the point that would kill it, it becomes inert instead. If reduced to inert (or past that point) by its Anathema, it is killed.
