Mutant, Krakoan: The character’s powers spring from them being a member of the subspecies Homo superior. They have a latent X-Gene that grants them powers, often triggered at adolescence.

Examples: Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Wolverine (Logan), Wolverine (Laura Kinney).
