Infinity Stones

These incredibly powerful stones come from the First Cosmos and are sent into various parts of the Multiverse to influence the course of a universe’s history.

Each stone works fully only in its home universe. If brought to another universe and used, they can function but may shatter if pushed too hard

For a long time, there were six Infinity Stones, each of which had a different colour and controlled a different aspect of the universe. They have changed colours sometimes, but on Earth 530 they are currently:

Power Stone (Yellow)

Mind Stone (Red)

Reality Stone (Orange)

Soul Stone (Violet)

Space Stone (Green)

Time Stone (Blue)

Recently, another Infinity Stone was created:

Death Stone (Black).

On their own, the stones grant the powers under each stones' description. They also give their users unlimited Focus and allow them to spend up to 30 points of Focus at once—or more if needed for narrative purposes.

The stones become more powerful when brought together, forming a circuit that grants unlimited control over the entire universe. For this reason, people who covet them have created items on which the stones can be mounted in close proximity to each other. The most notorious of these is the Infinity Gauntlet.

A single stone grants +1 rank to its user. Each stone that is within 100 spaces of another grants another +1 rank to all of the stones’ users. In either case, this can boost a user to a maximum of Rank 6.

In many ways, the use of an Infinity Stone’s powers is limited only by the user’s imagination. Most users learn to be cautious with their powers early on. Otherwise, they can cause all sorts of unintended consequences that are difficult even for them to repair.
