Faya Olson
PERSONAL HISTORY
Having gotten a taste of action on a tour of duty with the US Marine Corps, a young Faya Olson joined up with Covert Alpha the moment she was able. Her determination to succeed and her natural ability to make hard decisions propelled her through the ranks of the organization. Within a few years, she became the right hand of Covert Alpha director Alice Grant. Soon after, she replaced Grant.
Although supported by her subordinates, many of Olson's actions as director of Covert Alpha remain controversial. The foundation of Pheasant's Hill—an artificial-town prison designed to reform super villains through brainwashing—caused an international outcry. For her role in overseeing that project, Olson was 'retired' from Covert Alpha, only to be replaced as director by Erica Grant, Alice Grant's daughter. The organization itself dissolved shortly thereafter.
Despite her notoriety, Olson has found a second life as an agent for the CIA. She is wholly committed to the cause of making the world a safer place for regular people.
Although Olson is headstrong and driven by nature, she is not above cracking the occasional joke. Her social circle consists almost entirely of former Covert Alpha agents.
