PERSONAL HISTORY
After being rescued by a costumed super hero, registered nurse Hayley Garrett decided to dedicate her medical talents to treating heroes who wished to keep their identities secret. To do so, she took on a secret identity of her own, calling herself the E.M.T.. She has helped numerous heroes over the years, including Shield Spider (Peter Rogers), Night Daemon (Steven Collins), Blaze (Alex Steen), Lady Chi (Janice Teal), Shatterproof and Armoury (Sean Dyer). She even dated Mr. Crowley and Longbow (Emmet Jarrod) in the past.
In an effort to be more effective in her relatively unique position, Garrett went back to school and obtained her medical degree to become a general practitioner. Despite that, she continues to use the codename E.M.T.. Her original clinic burned down, but she reopened in Chinatown.
