Jessica Crowley is an ambitious and intelligent woman with more enemies than she can count. By the end of her college years, Crowley realized that, if she wanted to survive the coming decades, she would need trained body doubles.
Unwilling to settle for using regular men, Crowley began prototyping robots that could act in her place. The first of these Doombots were impressive but flimsy, barely able to fight for themselves. Ever undeterred by defeat, Crowley continued to rebuild and rework her bots until they became a force to be reckoned with.
The modern Doombots are among the toughest and most fearsome androids on the planet Earth. A single Doombot can contend with the likes of Shield Spider, and Sister Ruin’s enemies are rarely lucky enough to be faced with just a single bot. Crowley has been known to deploy entire armies of Doombots to deal with her archrivals in the Fabulous Four, or to put down peasant uprisings in her adopted home country of Latveria and Symkaria.
