Daniel Egan
PERSONAL HISTORY
Daniel Egan was once a revered detective in the Chicago Police Department. Then, for reasons unknown, he took a transfer to the New York Police Department. His first task in New York was to investigate a murder supposedly committed by Night Daemon (Steven Collins).
Egan took to that case the same way he does with all his cases: with dogged determination. In a matter of days, he tracked Night Daemon down, beat him up and arrested him. Unfortunately, Egan’s incredible and public defeat of Night Daemon only made the hero’s subsequent escape from custody all the more humiliating for the NYPD.
For a while after that, Egan harboured a grudge against all costumed super heroes. However, recent events have begun to push him into closer cooperation with the heros he once called enemies.
