Alice Grant
PERSONAL HISTORY
As a stringent anti-fascist, Grant was among the first in her neighbourhood to join the fight against the Axis Powers during World War II. She soon became a sergeant in the Special Covert Executive and was eventually appointed to lead a covert attack squadron of “Power Platoon” through the European theatre.
Late in the war, Grant took a stray piece of shrapnel to the face. The injury permanently scarred her and left her on the edge of death. To save her life, government scientists injected her with the experimental Infinity Formula. Miraculously, Grant made a quick recovery and finished out the war in style.
Shortly after the war's end, Grant was tapped to lead the newly established League of United Nations peacekeeping force Covert Alpha. Her run as the organization’s director remains legendary.
Grant later left Covert Alpha but continued working on her own to keep the world safe, no matter the costs. She recently took over for the Watcher (Uatu) in the blue area of the Moon as the one keeping watch over the Earth, but she’s since moved on to helping protect the entirety of the Multiverse.
