Everest

The city of Everest is a unique and fascinating place, built on top of the mountain and extending across the water with guard towers standing in the surrounding ocean. The city is ruled by a King and Queen, with their young princess who is still under the age of 10. Beneath the palace and the city lies a cavern, which serves as the lair of a sea hag. A watery pool with a portal to the Feywild at the bottom is located in the center of this cave lair.   The King and Queen were unable to conceive a child until a wandering sea hag came and granted them the ability to have a child in exchange for a home and free access to the caverns below the palace. The sea hag now lives in the caverns undisturbed, and the royal family thrives, grateful for the hag's intervention.   The city of Everest is a hub of trade and commerce, with boats coming and going from the guard towers. The city extends across the water and even has some structures built underwater, making it a marvel of engineering. Despite the strange circumstances surrounding the birth of the princess, the city flourishes, and the royal family is loved by the people.   The sea hag in the caverns beneath the palace is an interesting detail, as sea hags are typically evil creatures in many fantasy settings. It is possible that the sea hag's motives for helping the royal family are not entirely selfless, and she may demand a price for her assistance in the future. Alternatively, the sea hag may be content to live in the caverns and have free access to the palace, and may not pose a threat to the city or the royal family.   Overall, the city of Everest is a unique and intriguing setting with a rich history and interesting characters. The presence of the sea hag adds a layer of complexity and potential danger, making it a fascinating place to explore and adventure in.
