Mt. Everest

The tallest mountain in the world, known for it’s perilous climb and freezing weather. Few have tried to brave a summit, but none have succeeded. The last people to attempt a summit were George Mallory and Andrew Irvine, but they never returned and no one knows what befell them. The Sherpas in the area say that the mountain is alive and curses those who dare try to summit it without sacrificing to the gods, claiming there are beings who protect the mountain from outsiders. Few believe them, but then again, few have returned from their summit attempt. Those that have, speak of growls on the wind and big, white shapes that move along the mountain.   Could it be true that there is a curse on the mountain? What could be so sacred that beings would protect it?
