Tirol
Upon gazing at it's nickname, one can assume one of two things: Either Tirol has literally two suns, or that it's covered in scorching hot sand. Both of them are incorrect: Even though the region is also known for it's hot temperatures, Tirol is one of the most fertile lands of the known world. Tirol is also called 'Bread maker', although this nickname doesn't sound that awesome.
Geography
Given it's geographic features, one can conclude why it's people couldn't hold any national sovereignty, as the land holds almost no defensive assets. Besides from two mountain ranges which cover the region's borders, it's terrain is mostly small hills and plains.
Fauna & Flora
Most of the grass that covers the region holds an picturesque yellow, followed by some bushes and almost no trees throughout the land. Most of the local wildlife is small to medium size, being comprised of mostly rabbits, hogs and the occasional deer. Wolfs and wild dogs are rare, but can still impose a threat to local peasants and travellers.
Natural Resources
Most of the land value comes from it's enormous fertility, as it was mentioned in the general description. Non food-wise, some of the mountains in the border feature few deposits of iron and copper.
