Gah (G-ah)
The wild Gah is a species of carnivorous rodent that threatens both the wildlife and the inhabitants of Grood.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Gah's have a large, thick-skinned body covered in shaggy fur which both protects them from the cold and from any possible threats. Their head is large, with two small forward-facing eyes, large circular ears and a long snout featuring a mouth filled with deadly tusks. Their four legs are strong and designed for plowing through snow, and are armed with four inch long claws. They have no tail except for a short pointed stub.
Ecology and Habitats
This species lives in a very cold environment. Their thick fur, muscular neck and strong limbs allow them to travel easily through the deep snow by shoveling it out of their path. During the night they dig deep burrows in the snow which helps them maintain their body-heat.
Dietary Needs and Habits
The average Gah eats around 146 pounds of meat every 5 or 6 days in order to remain healthy. They mostly feed off of Screeching Morps but will also eat Grkwaggers, Hill Wolves or any other creature smaller than itself.
