homunculus
Homunculi (singular: homunculus) are artificial sentient beings, the most advanced form of golems, being extremely difficult to create. They are considered one of the pinnacles of alchemical training.

Anatomy
A homunculus takes on roughly the same physical characteristics of the doll it is crafted from, with some variation based on how magic is poured into the doll.
Growth Rate & Stages
Homunculi age very quickly, having lifespans only between 3 and 5 years.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Homunculi can be imbued with the knowledge and memories of almost any sentient being, provided appropriate material has been consumed (such as the brain or nervous tissue of the original being).
