Helga's Haberdashery
Helga’s Haberdashery is, despite the name, an inn and tavern located in an isolated area along the wooded road near Kadmaxis
The building was originally owned by a tailor specialising in men’s clothing, so when Helga bought it she renamed it Helga’s Haberdashery in homage, keeping the original sign. Though the name is a bit confusing to travellers, the Haberdashery has gained renown for its warm welcome, excellent meals and it's weekly games nights.
The sweet aroma of baking pastry greets visitors, as do two identical brothers in simple uniforms, their toothy grins stretched wide. The main door opens to a comfortable and HELGA'S HABERDASHERY 25 24 relaxed common area. Thick wooden posts hold up the roof, as well as travellers’ wet cloaks. There is an ornate fireplace surrounded by comfortable looking couches and chairs, and along the adjacent wall are dining tables and benches. Different board and dice games are scattered on the tables, ready for use. In the far corner is an L-shaped bar with half a dozen taps and an assortment of bottles along the wall. Behind the bar the kitchen is visible through an arched pass-through window. Two wooden doors, each with a bed symbol carved into them, lead to the two large rooms that are available for rent.
