Ascension of the Gods

Of the modern deities of Eana, the Blacksmith was the first to become a God, and the Maker was the second - followed by Death, Flora & Frostelle - all of whom ascended together.  These three seem to have had Traveller Ancestry.

After the Fall of the Travelers, a troubled era charged with dark magic briefly dominated Eana. Three heroes went to the Fateforge to become Death, Frostelle, and Flora. The first ensured that the old world was no more, whether by undeath or other sorcery; it needed to be culled to allow rebirth. The second called forth a purifying winter that completed Death’s work while preparing for the future. Finally, the third allowed new life to blossom, different from the old while being its continuation.

The Maker was one of the ancient giants who overcame the keys that the Travellers put in place to prevent those without Traveller ancestry accessing their magic/technology.  He investigated several different ways of doing this "Maker's Keys" and "Maker's Workshop/Maker's Lab/Afranaire's Lab".  The latter appears to have involved changing the 'type" of a creature in order to incorporate Traveller traits.
