Stone and Building Materials
Generally stone and other building materials originate in Terr'aina, yet are used in all three realms. Because of this, unique forms of travel have allowed the transit of huge slabs of stone and wood. These slabs often are as large as 20 feet in each direction, being up to a foot thick sometimes. Needless to say, these provide some trouble when it comes to moving, so a variety of Magi-mechanics and specially trained mages oversee the transport of these massive stones.
A Stone Barge, a low altitude Sky Driver, with a flat bottom and exceptionally long body, reinforced by metal, is what carries these slabs across the land. First however, the stone is crafted by architects, stoneworkers and geomancers, who then conduct a special process on the stone. The shapes and designs in Terr'ainan stone is not just decorative, but the various rivets and inlays provide a frame, which magically infused metal frames are laid into. Once connected with the stone, the stone becomes 1/100th as heavy, and can be easily moved by a team. These stones are inlaid onto special carrying shelves on Stone Barges, in which their journey begins.
The stone is carted off by Stone Barges, which may have to defend their very expensive goods with built in weapons, hired adventurers or local Terr'ainan Nomadic People, with who they may have a arrangement with. If it is being exported, the stone is often taken to The CIty Where Realms combine, where it will be passed into the hands of traders of Aerava or Kaiyocea, who will then return the frames upon the next meeting.
