In the beginning there was only It; that which would become Eainor. But It was barren and lifeless, and sat cloaked in the Mists of space and time. But then sprang forth from the Mists Naks and Tuim. Day and Night. When they looked upon It there grew both love and sadness, for they saw the beauty of It, but It did not yet have It's beauty. Then Tuim conjured the Lantern of the Sun to pierce the clouds of Mist, and It was revealed to them. Naks also brought forth a Lantern, but it was one of healing and peace; the Moon.   There in the light of the twin Lanterns It could be seen, but It still had not It's beauty. So Naks and Tuim brought forth Lad and Gui; Watre and Aire. And to these twin daughters were given fine combs; one of pearl, and one of ivory. And with these combs they brushed their hair, and their silken strands covered It. Thus, It was cloaked now in Watre and Aire.   Then It began to quake, and It broke asunder. From It's rubble there emerged Tol. Yet Tol meant no evil by this, for he was only born and did not know his actions. But Tol wished to mend the hurts he caused, so he took up the broken pieces of It and took place inside, and from his fingers grew the roots of the world, and thus made the rock of It into Earth.   And thus, It was healed, but It was not unchanged, for in some places flowed only Watre, and in some places blew only Aire, and in some places, there was naught but Earth. But the chaos was not evil, for in it there was a beauty beyond skill of craft, and from the chaos the Mists formed the Spirits; beings made of one Element, or another, or some of many.   So then It was surrounded with movement, and It breathed, but It still had not life. So from their Elements Tol and Lad and Tuim made creatures to dwell in them. Thus It was alive, and for It's beauty It was called Eainor.
