The Titans
At the start was a certainty, there was nothing. But certainty could not last, as there was bound to be a change, as certainty is as temporary as it is certain. Eventually, the titans did and didn't became to be. The Titans were creations that were paradoxical, as they were and weren't both the same. They destroyed certainty, as now there was no certainty for whether things are certain or not. The Titans, due to their nature, had no option but to fight, and so they did (and didn't).
As we all know, the only way to know whether a cat in a box is alive or not is to shoot the box. Every time a Titan has died, it became certain, and from that existence was born. Every time a Titan died, it brought a shard of existence to the now reality. In their death, some of the titans gave birth to core traits of reality (light, breath, time, gravity, life, death, and more), some became concepts (love, fear, growth, community, and more), and some has given birth to powerful deities like the gods, and some just became reality, a building block of which everything is created.
The Gods used the new certainty to create our world and then protected it from uncertainty and chaos. The Titans were not able to enter the creation, as their paradoxical nature couldn't exist in the certainty.
Most of the Titans became by dying, yet some of the titans gained the ability to be somewhat certain, and managed to fight the urge to fight and survived in the chaos. some of these Titans were killed by the gods, some by other Titans, and some have survived to this day.
