After Midway Island freed itself from the dwarves it became a pilgrimmage spot for many seers that wanted to pay their respects to Frey Jormikin and Sigrund Jormkin.

Although the Holy Order of Druids did not like the island being a pilgrimage spot for devotees to two figures they actively despised they could do little to prevent it after the Signing of the Treaty of Godly Intervention. Slowly but surely the island became a home to seers and hermits who preferred to live away from everything.
