More Portals are Opened

As magical theory further developed the portals became much easier to open. Eventually, it only took a few powerful individuals to open a permanent portal that did not require a continual supply of magic. This allowed the fey to roam freely about as they liked. Still, the continued opening of these portals quickly became too much for many of the native residents of E'ath as the Faewild would often spill out of these portals if left unguarded.

The first ones to complain about the portals were several ents who suddenly saw their surroundings change due to a portal that was opened in the middle of them. Others quickly followed but the sedimentary nature of the ents meant that they were the ones who were hit the hardest.
