Although Zemos did not have many followers it still made the Holy Order of Druids nervous when he moved to the Wasteland of Li'minar. According to records Zemos stated that he did not want to rock the balance but merely help mortals analyze the state of Li'minar.
Zemos's statements, however, did little to persuade the Holy Order of Druids and having only recently changed archdruid many among them were eager to take a harder stance against the gods. Many argue that this is what led to global hardlines against short-lived mortals and despite Zemos's best efforts and low number of followers he could not avoid attracting many mortals to the wasteland causing Nisdain's population to rise. Eventually, he swore off trying to gather more followers, even going so far as to not grant his followers any powers like the other gods did, but even this did nothing to quell the objections from the druids.
