Investigation of the Wall

It did not take long for the Holy Order of Druids to feel slighted by the inaccessibility of the world tree. They quickly decided that even if the world tree would not want visitors, it should still accept them. As such they decided the wall must be the work of the fey and decided to take action.

These efforts started by trying to climb over the wall which often led to death. Magic means of flight and similar efforts to scale it without touching it also led to death.   Eventually, an opening was found at the base of the wall. Here small groups of people could enter and slowly climb the wall. Although this path proved very dangerous as well, at least the wall itself did not attack anyone who tried to climb it. Instead, monsters that apparently had taken to living within the wall itself were the new adversaries.
