With the intelligent trees gone the fey were more free to act around the Flowing Peak. At first, this new freedom was used to observe the Flowing Peak in greater detail without the trees worrying that something might happen. However, it was soon discovered that creatures lived inside the mountain.

When the fey discovered the elementals and other creatures living inside the Flowing Peak they found them curious and interesting. Due to this a huge number of fey came from all over to 'play' with the new neighbours.   This soon developed into a thriving exchange of ideas and trade, with the fey selling whatever they could find to get their hands on the gems and other shiny objects found within the mountain. The gnomes followed soon after but trade rarely stayed the same and the Seelie court did not have control over any part of it until recently.
