Walford

Walford is a semi permanent military base just outside the The Wall of Li'guth and serves as bait to get the fey of the midnight grove out and learn about them. Despite the relative peaceful goal of gathering information this military base sports one of the highest fatality rates of any of the bases maintained by the Holy Order of Druids. This is due to the hostile nature of the fey and their inability to understand death the same as mortals do.   Despite the amount of deaths the archdruid insist on learning as much about the midnight grove as possible and keeps the military camp here. In an attempt to appease some of the political opponents he has however made it an official punishment to be sent here. This means that should a soldier, serviceman, or other official of the Holy Order of Druids be in need of punishment they might be sent to Walford for some length of time. This has appeased some political opponents while others take it as an admission that it is impossible to make the camp a peaceful place.
