The Legend of the Treasure Waters
Legends tell of Aeralei, a powerful Naiad and one of the first fey creatures to arrive in E'ath. She took residence east of Li'sleith and here she observed the short-lived races and their devotion to the gods. Eventually, she grew curious about these figures and decided to find a god. Her power of water allowed her to do so soon and through the water she began spying on the gods and eventually took interest in one of them.
As she watched the god she soon grew affectionate and wanted more than just watching. So she decided to do as the short-lived races and gathered as much treasure as she could and offered it to the god she liked. Her collection soon grew large as she could see and find all that touched the sea and with this massive pile of treasure she collected she planned to propose. As she did so, however, the god surprised by this encounter with a creature he did not know of, rejected her advances. Dejected she fled west as far as she could and here she cried until the land she stood on became lakes and covered both her and her treasure.
It is said that the world tree, Li'sleith, took sympathy with her and made it rain until the day she ones again can smile. Such is the legend of the Treasure Waters and the treasure she found and tried to offer can still be found on the bottom of the like, but only if Aeralei likes the diver enough that it eases her pain to see them.
