Li'li'kar's Rising Day

Li'li'kar's Rising Day is held annually on the 1st of Calistril. Many races and people who primarily revere the world trees see this day as the start of the new year. However, most official calendars start with the 1st of Abadius when the Rising of the Savage Isles is celebrated.   The day is often celebrated with displays of fire magic in reference to the flaming fruits that still hang on Li'li'kar. People unable to use magic will also display tricks using lit torches or braziers and walking across flaming coal or wood is often performed. At the end of the day huge feasts are held while a tradition of seeing a play based on the creation of the Holy Order of Druids has become increasingly popular. Some more extreme worshippers of the world tree will often burn holy symbols and books dedicated to the gods, although this practice is rare nor is it enforced by the order.
