If a vin with power turns selfish, overconfident, or power hungry, they get the illness
Symptoms
Black vine like tattoos start to grow on the body. Their power starts to grow stronger, and their body turns black more and more. Their personality is known to become darker, and meaner. This will usually end in death by others, due to them becoming to mad and crazy. their bodies are left all black.
Treatment
there is no known treatment. The growth will continue, even after death. Anyone with corruption are isolated, and contained. There are some who can control the corruption, although there are side affects
History
it has been known as long as the vin have had powers. no one knows how it is created, but they say it is a curse from the overseer to punish those who become selfish
Cultural Reception
They can be seen as evil. It is a show of your personality, and that you are not good.
