Dying Earth

One billion years is a long time. Many heroes have risen and fallen, many villains have taken power and fallen. And yet, those years have passed within this world, where the Sun has grown bigger, and life is slowly dying off. The dying Earth is mostly lifeless, except at the poles and underground where people are still hanging on to life. There is yet one final showdown that is going to happen, which will determine the fate of the very existence of life on the planet.    There have been a few disappearances around the town of Meridion, which none of them have been fully explainable, but people are assuming it is the work of the everlasting Morvita, a drow who is obsessed with eternal life, even if she's only been around for a few thousand years. Everything points towards Morvita, but it'll be very hard to reach her on her floating island at the equator, where the Earth is hottest and all the magic is concentrated.
